Destiny College Training Institute provides training for Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology.
This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and is also the minimum requirement for credentialed pastoral ministry with many churches throughout Australia.
Destiny College Training Institute is a part of the ministry program of Destiny Community Church, an Australian Christian Church, based at Atherton, Queensland. It is a Local Training Institute of the Australian College of Ministries Training Network (ACOM). ACOM is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO Provider # 90965).

The value of Local Church Based Training
Most studies exploring growing churches in Australia and around the world clearly show that one of the crucial factors in their growth is the development of Godly, skilled, mature, trained disciples and leaders in their own church. In developing disciples and leaders, local churches are investing in people and making the most of the resources God has given them.
Destiny College has a decentralised approach to training that enables disciples to be developed within their local church by deepening their faith through spiritual formation, expand their horizons through study, and test out their new found skills in the life of their local church. Destiny College is designed to identify and train leaders without sending them away to college. Under this system of training students can learn and grow in their church and are available for local ministry.
